If it wasn’t for Terri Windling, much of today’s fantasy would be very different or might not exist at all. Bordertown would not have been created, and there would be no Welcome to Bordertown for me to have a story in.
Right now, Terri is having some difficulties and a huge number of authors, illustrators, fans and admirers have banded together to create an auction to raise funds to help her. There are multiple pages of amazing items up for bid. Use the link above the heading “About Us” to scroll back through previous pages. There are also links to specific items in the left column.
And yes, I have donated something. If you want to bid on a poster of the Cliff Nielsen cover for the first edition hardback of Blood and Chocolate, signed by me, here’s your chance.
Make sure to read some important information on how to bid. The auction ends on December 15, 2011.
Also, check out the Magick 4 Terri page on Facebook.

COVERS!
This past year has been a great one for foreign editions. I thought I'd share a few covers here.
Swedish B&C
Turkish Silver Kiss
Italian B&C
German B&C
A Croatian edition is in the works. That should be interesting.

An Official Bordertown Review!
Ellen Kushner has posted a delightfully annotated review of Welcome to Bordertown on her blog. Yay! It says there is "no weak link." Whew! It would be awful if my story was a weak link.
